Jesus asks us to forgive others. We ourselves have been forgiven when we accept Christ. To forgive means to “release” -- to let go.
When we forgive others, we release them from judgment — even if they deserve judgment. We ourselves deserve the penalty of our sins, but God has forgiven us in Jesus. So we can turn around — even when we have been hurt, or wounded, or criticized — and forgive others.
Jesus said “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” when He was being crucified. He prayed even for the people who crucified Him. Even so, let us pray for others — even “those who despitefully use us.”

This week, let us pray
That God would bless someone who has hurt you
That God would save people from a group of people who you do not like
That God would bless our staff here at Global Media Outreach with His joy and peace
