A Muslim man in Egypt killed his wife because she was reading the Bible and then buried her with their infant baby and an 8-year old daughter. The girls were buried alive! He then reported to the police that an uncle killed the kids. 15 days later, another family member died. When they went to bury him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand - ALIVE! The country is outraged over the incident, and the man will be executed at the end of July. The older girl was asked how she had survived and she says:- 'A man wearing shiny white clothes, with bleeding wounds in his hands, came every day to feed us. He woke up my mom so she could nurse my sister,' she said. She was interviewed on Egyptian national TV, by a veiled Muslim woman news anchor. She said on public TV, 'This was none other than Jesus, because nobody else does things like this!' Muslims believe Isa (Jesus) would do this, but the wounds mean He really was crucified, and it's clear also that He is alive! But, it's also clear that the child could not make up a story like this, and there is no way these children could have survived without a true miracle. Muslim leaders are going to have a hard time to figure out what to do with this, and the popularity of the Passion movie doesn't help! With Egypt at the centre of the media and education in the Middle East , you can be sure this story will spread. Christ is still controlling and turning the world. Please let this story be shared. The Lord says, 'I will bless the person who puts his trust in me. (Jeremiah 17) Please forward to all on your list and God will reward you abundantly....spread the Good News! I almost deleted this email but I was blessed when I got to the end God, when I received this e-mail, I thought... I don't have time for this... And, this is really inappropriate during work. Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is.... Exactly, what has caused lot of the problems in our world today. We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning... Maybe, Sunday night... And, the unlikely event of a midweek service. We do like to have Him around during sickness.... And, of course, at funerals. However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play... Because.. That's the part of our lives we think... We can, and should, handle on our own. May God forgive me for ever thinking... That... There is a time or place where.. HE is not to be FIRST in my life. We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us. If, You aren't ashamed to do this.... Please follow the directions. Jesus said, 'If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.' Not ashamed? Pass this on ONLY IF YOU MEAN IT!! Yes, I do Love God. HE is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I will be nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. (Phil 4:13) This is the simplest test. If You Love God... And, are not ashamed of all the marvelous things HE has done for you... Send this to ten people and the person who sent it to you! Now do you have the time to pass it on? Make sure that you scroll through to the end. Easy vs. Hard Why is it so hard to tell the truth but Yet so easy to tell a lie? Why are we so sleepy in church but Right when the sermon is over we suddenly wake up? Why is it so easy to delete a Godly e-mail, but yet we forward all of the nasty ones? Of all the free gifts we may receive, Prayer is the very best one.... There are no costs, but wonderful rewards... GOD BLESS! Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Isn't it funny how someone can say 'I believe in God' but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also 'believes' in God). Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing? Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me. I pray, for everyone who sends this to their entire address book, they will be blessed by God in a way special for them. And send it back to the person who sent it, to let them know that indeed it was sent out to many more.

Pintu-pintu yang tertutup

Pernahkah kita mengucap syukur kepada Tuhan untuk "pintu-pintu" yang tertutup dalam kehidupan anda sebagaimana kita mengucap syukur untuk "pintu-pintu" yang terbuka?

Mungkin saat ini kita sedang bertanya-tanya, mengapa Tuhan tidak mengabulkan doaku untuk boleh bekerja di jabatan atau syarikat itu? Mengapa usaha dan perniagaan yang aku buat dan kudoakan tidak berhasil malahan sering gagal? Mengapa hubunganku dengan kekasihku putus ditengah jalan? Pertanyaan-pertanyaan seperti itu seringkali muncul dalam fikiran kita, disaat impian, harapan dan cita-cita kita tidak tercapai dan bahkan berantakan.

Pernahkah kita terfikir bahawa setiap kali Tuhan menutup sebuah pintu,sebenarnya Tuhan sedang mengarahkan kita kepada pintu yang lain dimana berkat yang lebih baik sedang menunggu kita?

Seringkali kita tidak boleh berpikir jernih dan melihat kebenaran tentang hal tersebut kerana jiwa kita merana disebabkan kesedihan dan mata kita dipenuhi dengan airmata. Kita lupa sama sekali tentang kebenaran yang mengatakan bahawa Allah menuntun kita seperti seorang Ayah menuntun anaknya, seperti seorang Gembala yang baik menuntun domba-dombanya yang lemah dan bodoh. Kita lupa tentang kebenaran yang mengatakan; "......jika kamu yang jahat tahu memberikan apa yang baik untuk anak-anakmu, terlebih lagi Bapamu yang di syurga!......"

Salah satu alasan kenapa Tuhan menutup sebuah pintu atau beberapa pintu dalam kehidupan kita, yaitu karena di balik pintu-pintu itu tidak tersedia sesuatu yang berharga bagi hidup kita, atau juga mungkin ada sesuatu hal yang tidak akan membawa suatu kebaikan bagi kita.

Seringkali Tuhan menutup beberapa pintu dalam kehidupan kita hanya untuk membuat kita lebih dewasa, lebih matang, lebih berkualiti dan membuat kita lebih tahan uji! Tuhan memilih melakukan hal itu kerana dalam keadaan demikianlah kita lebih mudah untuk menjadi rendah hati untuk belajar mendengarkan nasihatNya; belajar tentang hal-hal yang lebih bererti, lebih bersifat kekal, belajar tentang menghargai orang lain dan belajar untuk tidak lagi bernafsu meninggikan diri sendiri!

Seorang penjual burung harus menyelubungi sangkar burungnya dengan sehelai kain hitam saat menginginkan burung yang ada di dalam sangkar itu untuk mengeluarkan suara kicauanya yang merdu dan indah. Konon dengan menutupi sangkar burung dan menjadikannya gelap akan membuat burung tersebut berkonsentrasi sehingga memunculkan hal-hal yang baik dari dirinya, iaitu kicauannya. Dan ketika sang burung melihat cahaya terang kembali, kicauannya selalu menjadi bunyi yang riang dan menyegarkan.

Seorang tukang besi harus memanaskan berkali-kali batang besi yang mulanya buruk dan kemudian harus memukulnya berkali-kali untuk menjadikan bentuk besi buruk tadi menjadi sebuah perkakas yang kuat, tahan banting dan berguna untuk banyak orang atau menjadikannya sebagai sebuah benda seni yang sangat indah dan mahal.

Nah, sekarang dapatkah kita percaya bahwa pintu-pintu yang tertutup dalam hidup kita bukan berarti Tuhan menghukum atau tidak mengasihi kita dan mahukah kita mulai belajar mempercayai hidup kita kepadaNya, kepada Dia yang maha tahu, maha bijaksana dan yang sangat mengasihi kita?

Baiklah kita mulai belajar bersyukur kepadaNya untuk pintu-pintu yang tertutup dalam kehidupan kita, karena itu hanya mengarahkan anda kepada pintu anugerah dan berkat yang terbaik yang dibuka oleh Tuhan untuk kehidupan kita!

Sentuh Hatiku

Dear all,

Mungkin banyak yang dengar lagu sentuh hatiku, yang dinyanyikan oleh Maria
Shandy dan Jason. Akan tetapi dibalik lagu itu ternyata ada sebuah kisah yang luar biasa.
Pencipta lagu ini adalah seorang anak Tuhan, dan kisah didalam lagu itu adalah
milik teman sekolahnya.
Temannya itu diperkosa oleh ayahnya sendiri dan menjadi gila, sehingga harus
dipasung (dirantai) dirumahnya. Ia suka datang dan mendoakan anak itu sambil
sesekali menulis lirik lagu..

Waktu pun berlalu..........

Dia pun pindah kota dan mulai sibuk dengan kegiatannya sendiri. Suatu ketika, tiba-tiba anak perempuan itu menelpon dia. Tentu saja kaget bukan main, karena dia tahu anak itu kan gila dan dipasung! Kenapa sekarang bisa lepas? Bisa telepon juga?

Akhirnya anak perempuan itu cerita, suatu hari entah karena karat atau
bagaimana rantainya lepas dari tangan dan kakinya. Satu hal yang langsung dia ingat, dia mau bunuh bapaknya! Tetapi saat dia bangun, ia melihat Tuhan Yesus dengan jubah putihnya, berkata : "Kamu harus memaafkan papa kamu."
Tetapi anak itu ga bisa dan dia terus menangis, memukul, dan berteriak..
Sampai akhirnya Tuhan memeluk dia dan berkata : "Aku mengasihimu anakKu"
Walaupun bergumul akhirnya anak itupun memaafkan papanya, mereka sekeluarga
menangis dan boleh kembali hidup normal.

Dari situ lah lagu sentuh hatiku ditulis.....

Kisah diatas sungguh2 terjadi, semoga bisa menginspirasi kita agar bisa
merasakan kasih Tuhan yang luar biasa dan tak pernah berhenti.....

Pada awalnya, aku memandang Tuhan sebagai seorang pengamat; seorang hakim yang mencatat segala kesalahanku, sebagai bahan pertimbangan apakah aku akan dimasukkan ke surga atau dicampakkan ke dalam neraka pada saat aku mati. Dia terasa jauh sekali, seperti seorang raja. Aku tahu Dia melalui gambar-gambar- Nya, tetapi aku tidak mengenal-Nya.

Ketika aku bertemu Yesus, pandanganku berubah.

Hidupku menjadi bagaikan sebuah arena lumba basikal, tetapi basikalnya boleh ditungai dua orang atau dengan nama lain sepeda tandem, dan aku tahu bahwa Yesus duduk di belakang, membantu aku mengayuh pedal basikal.

Aku tidak tahu sejak bila Yesus mengajakku bertukar tempat, tetapi sejak itu hidupku jadi berubah. Saat aku memegang pengendali, aku tahu jalannya. Terasa membosankan, tetapi lebih dapat diramal… biasanya, hal itu tak berlangsung lama. Tetapi, saat Yesus kembali pegang kendali, Ia tahu jalan yang panjang dan menyenangkan. Ia membawaku mendaki gunung, juga melewati batu-batu karang yang terjal dengan kecepatan yang menegangkan.

Saat-saat seperti itu, aku hanya boleh menggantungkan diriku sepenuhnya pada-Nya!

Terkadang rasanya seperti sesuatu yang 'gila', tetapi Ia berkata, “Cepat, kayuh terus pedalnya!”

Aku takut, kuatir dan bertanya, “Aku mahu dibawa ke mana?”

Yesus tertawa dan tak menjawab, dan aku mulai belajar percaya.

Aku melupakan kehidupan yang membosankan dan memasuki suatu petualangan baru yang mencengangkan. .

Dan ketika aku berkata, “Aku takut!” Yesus mengurangkan kelajuan, mengayuh santai sambil menggenggam tanganku. Ia membawaku kepada orang-orang yang menyediakan hadiah-hadiah yang aku perlukan …orang-orang itu membantu menyembuhkan aku, mereka menerimaku dan memberiku sukacita. Mereka membekalkan aku dengan hal-hal yang aku perlukan untuk melanjutkan perjalanan … perjalananku bersama Tuhanku. Lalu, kami pun kembali mengayuh basikal kami.

Kemudian, Yesus berkata, “Berikan hadiah-hadiah itu kepada orang-orang yang memerlukannya; jika tidak, hadiah-hadiah itu akan menjadi beban bagi kita.”

Terlintas seketika diminda untuk tidak ingin membagikan hadiah yang diperolehi kepada orang lain... mau makan sendiri sahaja, tetapi bila aku pun melakukannya. Aku membagi-bagikan hadiah-hadiah itu kepada orang-orang yang kami jumpai, sesuai keperluan mereka. Aku belajar bahawa ternyata memberi adalah sesuatu yang membahagiakan.

Pada mulanya, aku tidak ingin mempercayakan hidupku sepenuhnya kepadaNya. Aku takut Ia menjadikan hidupku bercelaru; tetapi Yesus tahu rahsia mengayuh basikal. Ia tahu bagaimana membelok di selekoh yang tajam, Ia tahu bagaimana melompat batu karang yang tinggi, Ia tahu bagaimana terbang untuk mempercepat melewati tempat-tempat yang menakutkan.

Aku belajar untuk diam sementara sambil terus mengayuh … menikmati pemandangan dan tiupan angin sepoi-sepoi yang menerpa wajahku selama perjalanan bersama Sahabatku yang setia: Yesus Kristus.

Dan ketika aku tidak tahu apa lagi yang harus aku lakukan, Yesus akan tersenyum dan berkata …: “Mengayuhlah terus, Aku bersamamu.”

Jesus is the Son of God! As we celebrate Christmas this year, let us remember and honor Jesus Christ as the true and only Son of God.

The Bible says that Jesus was born of a virgin — that God Himself was the Father of Jesus Christ. This is a great mystery that our human minds may not be able to fully comprehend. God Himself became a man and lived among us. Jesus Christ was fully a man — He was a human being. But He was also fully God — the Son of God here on earth.

When Jesus was born, shepherd were out in the fields at night tending their sheep. Suddenly “an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord...” You can read the full story in the Bible in the gospel of Luke, chapters 1 and 2.

So Jesus is God’s Son. What does that mean to us? It means many things — among them, that

• God loves us
• God lived as a human among us so He understands us
• God was willing to come to earth and live and die for our sins so we could be forgiven

A LETTER TO YOU FROM SATAN

I saw you yesterday as you began your daily chores. You awoke without kneeling to pray. As a matter of fact, you didn't even bless your meals, or pray before going to bed last night. You are so unthankful, I like that about you. I cannot tell you how glad I am that you have not changed your way of living, Fool, you are mine.

Remember, you and I have been going steady for years, and I still don't love you yet. As a matter of fact, I hate you, because I hate God. He kicked me out of heaven, and I'm going to use you as long as possible to pay him back. You see, Fool, GOD LOVES YOU and HE has great plans in store for you But you have yielded your life to me, and I'm going to make your life a living hell. That way, we'll be together twice. This will really hurt God. Thanks to you, I'm really showing Him who's boss in your life with all of the good times we've had.

We have been... watching dirty movies, cursing people out, stealing, lying, being hypocritical, fornicating, overeating, telling dirty jokes, gossiping, being judgmental, back stabbing people, disrespecting adults, and those in leadership positions, no respect for the Church, bad attitudes. SURELY you don't want to give all this up.

Come on, Fool, let's burn together forever. I've got some hot plans for us. This is just a letter of appreciation from me to you. I'd like to say 'THANKS' for letting me use you for most of your foolish life. You are so gullible, I laugh at you. When you are tempted to sin, you give in HA HA HA, you make me sick.

Sin is beginning to take its toll on your life. You look 20 years older, and now, I need new blood. So go ahead and teach some children how to sin. All you have to do is smoke, get drunk or drink while under-aged, cheat, gamble, gossip, fornicate, and live being as selfish as possible. Do all of this in the presence of children and they will do it too. Kids are like that.

Well, Fool, I have to let you go for now. I'll be back in a couple of seconds to tempt you again. If you were smart, you would run somewhere, confess your sins, and live for God with what little bit of life that you have left. It's not my nature to warn anyone, but to be your age and still sinning, it's becoming a bit ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I still hate you.

IT'S JUST THAT YOU'D MAKE A BETTER FOOL FOR CHRIST.
